Throughout the school year, the entire CRS community is involved in a wide array of community service projects that greatly benefit many organizations and individuals in the greater Washington area. The Community Service and Volunteer committees of the PTA spearhead many of the efforts; however, other groups actively contribute to community service as well. These projects happen at the PTA, class, grade, club and school levels.
Keeping the staff and parents at CRS informed about the substantial charitable projects being organized throughout the school will greatly help with the planning of events. As well, having a master list of these activities will allow us to more efficiently communicate the extensive efforts being put forth throughout the school to help our surrounding community.
A listing of all CRS charitable giving endeavors planned is available to view at the Churchill Charitable Giving Master List.
If you are planning a community service activity for CRS please complete the Churchill Charitable Giving Form with the details of your project. This information will be automatically added to the Churchill Charitable Giving Master List.
If you prefer, hard copies of this form can be found in both the staff and PTA workrooms. Completed forms can be e-mailed to charitablegiving@churchillroadpta.org or put in the Churchill Charitable Giving box in the PTA room.
If you have any questions please e-mail Debra Furman at charitablegiving@churchillroadpta.org.
