The Safe Community Coalition (SCC, http://safecommunitycoalition.com/ ) is a local organization that presents and funds programs for youth and parents in the community.  The mission of the SCC is to promote schools and neighborhoods free from violence, alcohol and substance abuse.

In the past the SCC has funded a variety of different programs and activities including an ethics day for sixth graders, anti-bulling programs, internet safety programs, substance abuse education programs, parenting skill workshops, student leadership and conflict resolution training, and after school programs.
