CRS Yearbook News.... The yearbook committee is beginning to collect candid photos for the 2009-2010 CRS yearbook.  We are asking your help in coordinating the collection of these photos with your classroom yearbook representatives.    We realize that all the photos may not have been taken by the room parent or the yearbook representative alone, so we are asking the room parent/yearbook representative to initiate and coordinate the collection of the photos for their classroom.   The photos can be given too us in several options: 1.  Have parents email their pictures to you/yearbook representative and upload them to the CRS Yearbook account on Picasa.  Please e-mail us at yearbook1@churchillroadpta.org to get login information. Upload the photos into one of the following categories:   Classroom (by Grade and Teacher) Parties Special Classroom Events   CRS Community Service Martha's Table Sandwich Making Walk for the Homeless Holiday Gift Drive Community Service – General Outdoor Odyssey Recycling/Composting   CRS Family Activities Family Movie Night Ice Skating Movie Day Ice Cream Social Parade of Cuisines CRS Before/After-School Activities Sports Chess Club Girls on the Run Science Olympiad Before/After-School Activities - General School-wide Assemblies School-wide Spirit Days General/Miscellaneous   Once the photos are uploaded, please send an email to yearbook1@churchillroadpta.org  so that we can keep track of which classrooms have updated their photos.   2.     Collect photos on CD/DVD and turn them into the front in one envelope with the grade, teacher and name on the envelope by Tuesday, February 9. 3.      Have parents bring the photos in on a CD or flash card on the following collection day:  February 9, 2010 from 8:15-9:00, and again from 2:45-3:30.   We appreciate your help and please encourage your parents to participate; we want to include all the smiling faces we can!  E-mail us with any questions you may have about how to give us your pictures! It's not too late to order your yearbook!  If you are ordering more than one, please put all children's names/teachers/grades on the order form so they get handed out correctly at the end of the year.  Please consider purchasing one for each child, as it is very important to the children when the yearbooks are handed out that they have their own to be signed by classmates.     Yearbook Price:  $22  Check made out to CRS PTA Bring your check to the front office now so you don't miss out on getting a yearbook!     What does the CRS Yearbook Committee do?... Creates the annual yearbook of CRS people and events! If you love to take pictures and would like to dedicate time well spent to be on our committee, we would love your help!  It is a great chance to get to know the school!   If you don't want to commit to being on the committee, we need a representative from each class to be able to give us pictures from their child's classroom.  This is your opportunity to help your child's class get in the yearbook!   In addition to taking pictures yourself, you will collect them from other parents and the teacher and give them to our yearbook committee for possible inclusion in the yearbook.  By being a representative, you do not need to attend committee meetings, although we will ask you to submit pictures throughout the year.  If you are interested please contact us.  We need your help to make another great CRS yearbook!
