The Long-range Planning Committee chairperson shall:

1. chair a committee consisting of the PTA president, vice-president, treasurer, two at-large members (appointed by the president from open nominations), the principal (or his/her designee), and three staff members representing K-3, 4-6, and specialists;
2. conduct a survey, at least biennially, of the staff and community to assess needs, and publish the results;
3. present recommendations for areas of expenditure to the Board, based on the survey results;
4. make recommendations for disposition of unexpended monies based on survey results or other considerations as they arise;
5. bring to the committee for consideration other appropriate issues as may arise from time to time.
