Effective immediately, if you are considering volunteering more than twice this year or chaperoning a field trip (even once), you will need to sign up to be a volunteer. WHAT TO EXPECT
Reminder: Classrooms are nut-free zones, the cafeteria has a nut-free table.
Lunch volunteers help students with opening lunch containers and guide the kids when it's time to clean up. They also help students collect lunch trays and food waste as part of the PTA-sponsored Composting Program.
Trays are collected during lunch for all grade levels. Food waste is currently only collected during grades 4-6 lunch. The food scraps and trays are hauled away every Friday during the school year by a compost collection service.
