Help provide the gifts cards for the teacher lounge "Giving Tree" so that every teacher and staff member in the school will have an opportunity to visit and choose a gift card for themselves. Read more below.

Gift Card Tree
On TBA, we will have a gift card tree in the staff lounge for each staff member to select a $25 gift card from various vendors. If you would like to support this effort, you can sign up here! Link coming soon
Cards and Thank You Notes
On TBA, students are encouraged to give cards or send thank you notes to their teachers! You can also send thank you notes through the VA Lottery Thank A Teacher Program (scroll down for details).
Other Ways to Share Appreciation
FCPS Cares Program
- You can fill out an online comment submission through the FCPS Cares Program. It takes less than a minute!
Appreciation Letter
- Submit a thank you letter for a teacher's employee file (this REALLY helps them and is greatly appreciated).
- Send the letter to the CRS Front Office, attention: Staff Appreciation.
- Sample form available in Word or PDF (viewable with Adobe Reader or Foxit).
Thank A Teacher
- The CRS PTA is excited to participate in the VA Lottery Thank A Teacher Program again this year.
- We encourage students, parents, and the general public to send thank-you notes to Virginia's deserving public school teachers during National Teacher Appreciation Week.
- These notes express your gratitude for all that teachers do and provide them a chance to win some fantastic prizes!
- In addition, you may submit a digital card online that will be sent to the designated teacher.
