How We Use Cookies

A cookie is a file containing an identifier (a string of letters and numbers) that is sent by a web server to a web browser and stored by the browser. The identifier is then sent back to the server each time the browser requests a page from the server. This enables the webserver to identify and track the web browser.

The cookies cannot be used to identify you personally and do not store any credit card information.

These cookies may be created when you visit our Site or click on links that we share with you via email or social media.

We may use both “session” cookies and “persistent” cookies on the Site. Session cookies will be deleted from your computer when you close your browser. Persistent cookies will remain stored on your computer until deleted or until they reach a specified expiration date.

We use Google Analytics to analyze the use of the Site. Google Analytics is a web analytics service offered by Google, Inc. that mainly uses cookies to report on your interactions on the Site and analyzes how you use the Site. Although Google Analytics plants a persistent Cookie on your web browser to identify you as a unique user the next time you visit the Site, the Cookie cannot be used by anyone but Google. Google's ability to use and share information collected by Google Analytics about your visits to the Site is restricted by the Google Analytics Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. For more information on Google Analytics, including how to set up privacy controls on how Google Analytics collects your information, please see the help article, Safeguarding your data. Google also provides a Google Analytics opt-out plug-in for web browsers.

For more information about cookies, including how to see what cookies have been saved and how to manage and delete them, please visit www.allaboutcookies.org. Blocking all cookies will have a negative impact on the usability of many websites, including this one. If you have any further questions about our use of cookies, please email us at admin@churchillroadpta.org.
