After School Activities (ASAs) offered through Baroody Camps are ON HOLD

 

We will be offering the below listed teacher-led classes for the Winter session.

Classes

 

Bobcat Basketball 5th-6th - $175                                           

  • Schedule: Mondays 2/3-3/24 (5 weeks),  3:30pm - 4:30pm
  • Led by: Ms. Morales
  • Max enrollment: 15
 

Drama Club 4th-6th - $175    

Drama Club is an interactive, hands-on club for 4th through 6th grade students interested in the performing arts.  Through a mix of theatre games, exercises, and scene work, participants will develop quick-thinking skills, confidence, and a knack for spontaneous storytelling. Students will have a chance to explore different elements of theater such as improvisation, backstage and technical theatre design, audition techniques, characterization, stage movement and voice elements.  Each class will be designed for students to have a hands-on experience learning about a new element or aspect of theater.                                        

  • Schedule: Mondays 2/3-3/24 (5 weeks),  3:30pm - 4:30pm

Clay Critters: Animal Explorers 1st-3rd - $325
Join the Clay Critters: Animal Explorers club, where young adventurers in grades 1-3 will embark on exciting journeys to study animals from around the world! Each week, we’ll learn about different species, their habitats, and behaviors, before using our creativity and hands-on skills to sculpt animals out of air clay. Whether it’s a mighty lion, a colorful bird, or a playful dolphin, your imagination will take flight as you craft your favorite animals while learning fun facts about them. It’s the perfect mix of art, science, and exploration – come create your own wild world with us!
  • Schedule: Friday 2/7-4/4 (9 weeks), 3:30pm - 4:30pm
  • Led by: Ms. Amatucci
  • Max enrollment: 15

PTA members receive priority registration, and classes fill up quickly and early, so be sure your membership is up to date for early access! 

 

An on-site coordinator (Ms. Scott, Ms. Amatucci, or Mr. Amatucci) will be at school on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday afternoons to help with logistics.

  • There will be no cancellations or refunds this session.

  • If we cancel due to not meeting the minimum enrollment, we will contact you ASAP.  

*If your student needs financial assistance to participate in an ASA you may send an email to afterschoolactivities@churchillroadpta.org. Personal identifying information will be kept confidential when assistance requests are received and when granted.

After School Activities Rules and Behavior Policy 

  • It is expected that all participants follow regular classroom and school rules while attending.
  • We want all our participants to have a positive experience, our teachers will strive to work out any problems with a child and parent before withdrawing any child from the program.
  • When a child does not follow the expected behavior guidelines, teachers will make attempts to redirect the child for more appropriate behavior.
  • If a child continues to have difficulties, he or she will be removed from the class.
  • Teachers will inform the parents about the situation and the child will need to be picked up by a parent or guardian immediately.
  • If a child is removed from a class a second time, that child will be withdrawn from the remainder of the session. No partial refunds will be given in these situations.
  • The following behaviors will NOT be tolerated and will result in a first and final warning:
    • Any inappropriate physical contact
    • Throwing objects
    • Consistent disruption in class
    • Damaging school or personal property
    • Leaving an area without permission from the instructor
    • Disrespect towards other students or instructors, using inappropriate language, incidents of bullying including name calling, verbal or non-verbal threats or discriminatory behavior.
  • After the first warning, any future behavioral issues will result in immediate removal from the class for the rest of the sessions and no partial refunds will be offered.
