JOIN US AT OUR annual PTA family BACKYARD BARBEQUE!

Featuring BBQ, Kid and Veggie Options, and LIVE DJ with Music and Kids Games

Date: May 15, 2026

Time: 5:00-7:30 p.m.

Location: CRS "Backyard"

Bring your own blanket for a picnic, or small table and chairs to set up inside the track!  Kids will play on the playground or dance/play games with the DJ, and adults can socialize!  A Kona Ice Truck will be available for purchase.

Please note that this is a catered event, so no ticket sales will be permitted at the door. There will also be no refunds.

Ticket sales open through May 8th!

The event will be held rain or shine — if it rains, we'll move the picnic indoors between the cafeteria and gym! 

Tickets:

Adults (13+): $25 per person

Choose between BBQ Meat (Chicken and/or Pork) or Veggie Burger.

Students (4-12): $15 per person 

Choose between BBQ Meat (Chicken or Pork), Beef Hot Dog, or Veggie Burger.

Kids age 3 and under are FREE 

Choose between Beef Hot Dog or Veggie Burger.

CRS Teachers/Staff: FREE

      Choose between BBQ Meat (Chicken or Pork) or Veggie Burger.

All tickets include Water and Sides: roll, pickles, coleslaw, mac n cheese, potato salad, sauces

*As is always the PTA policy, we do not want personal finances to be a barrier to participate in any of our events.  If you family requires financial assistance to this event, you may contact our CRS Front Office directly with your request to Ms. Moran  KMoran2@fcps.edu , who will then send anonymously to the PTA.
